These singing bowls are handmade and hand-beaten in Nepal, sourced through an established relationship with a trusted Nepalese supplier.
 
The bowls are made from a combination of copper, nickel, zinc, brass and aluminium alloy. The exact composition can vary between individual bowls, contributing to the unique character and sound of each piece.
 
Each bowl has its own unique voice, with a beautiful combination of its fundamental note, overtones and undertones. They are available in a range of musical notes, sizes and finishes, allowing you to choose a bowl according to the sound, size and style that appeals to you.
 
The bowls are offered according to their musical note and traditional chakra association. The larger bowls are paired with cushions in the corresponding chakra colour. For example, C is traditionally associated with the Root Chakra and is paired with a red cushion.
 
The smaller bowls can produce a more complex blend of overtones and undertones, so their cushion colours do not necessarily correspond to the chakra colour of the note.
 
Please note: Each bowl comes as a set with one singing bowl, one cushion and one mallet. Where a suitable cushion is unavailable, an additional type of mallet will be provided.
